Vidula’s Veggie Waffles


  • Cabbage or any mix of vegetables – (shredded or finely chopped)- 4 cups
  • Onion (finely chopped)- 1 cup
  • Plain Yogurt (can use old)- 1½ cup
  • Oats (Instant Plain) – 2½ cup
  • Chickpea flour- ½ cup
  • Salt & Seasonings: according to your choice and taste
  • Oil or Butter for greasing


  1. In a big bowl mix all the vegetables, yogurt, salt, seasonings and give it a good rub
  2. Mix in the chickpea flour evenly
  3. Add the oats to the bowl and mix thoroughly
  4. Let it sit for a couple of minutes
  5. Grease the waffle iron and heat it up
  6. Put scoops of the mix and cook till it turns brown and
    crisp-say about 3 to 5 minutes
