Black Creek Community Farm – Fatin Chowdhury

Fatin Chowdhury

Fatin is the Development and Communications Manager at the farm. He’s an artist and photographer who’s excited to leverage his storytelling tools and animate our efforts at the farm tackling food insecurity. Previously, he’s been working on his Master’s in Environmental Studies degree at York University and has taken on projects with community-based organizations including Made in Exile and Thorncliffe Park Women’s committee. His drive for food justice centers how growing food and growing collective power within our communities go hand in hand. As he continues to engage with the Black Creek neighbourhood, he hopes to build meaningful relationships and visualize stories from the community.
