Our 13th Annual Farm Festival is a free, family-friendly event that brings the community together for a day of celebration, connection, and fun. With live performances, games, crafts, face painting, and a wide variety of food and artisan vendors, the Festival is one of the most anticipated events of the year.

1 PM | FESTIVAL BEGINS

Doors open: Join us for fun games and activities for all ages, free services, and food and artisan vendors!

2 PM | DANCE WORKSHOP

Take part in an introductory hip-hop dance session. Led by Nathan Baya, the artist, songwriter, and performer known for his electrifying performances at over 100 venues, including the Toronto Raptors, Afrofest, Nuit Blanche, Rise Edutainment, and the Toronto Biennial of Art.

4 PM | LIVE PERFORMANCES

As part of Arts in the Parks, York University’s Goldfarb Gallery presents the Art on My Mind Showcase. Hosted by Kadiatu Barrie, the showcase ​features performances by New Tradition Music, Kibra, Sydanie, and DJ Cur8, and new songs developed by emerging artists as part of the Art on My Mind workshop series.

6 PM | FESTIVAL ENDS

  • Black Creek Community Farm is located at 4929 Jane St, just south of Steeles Ave.
  • The farm is easily TTC accessible! The 35 Jane and 195 Express buses both stop just steps from our front gate. For TTC directions please click here.

Driving? There will be no parking on site for this event.

  • Free parking at Pioneer Village Station (on weekends). Accessible by TTC or 15min walk to farm site.
  • Free parking at Jane-Finch Mall – 20 min walk to the farm
  • Free parking at Yorkgate Mall – 20 min walk to the farm
