Join us in celebrating the annual Waste Reduction Week across Canada! Sign up to our food preservation workshop led by Chef Angela Toussaint and Erma Broomes, Urban Harvest Black Creek Community Leaders, as they show how to save your end of the season harvests: turn green tomatoes into salsa, pickles and more; preserve peppers and dehydrate kale and herbs!
When: Oct 18, 2022, pick from one of the 2 in-person sessions:
Session 1: 11am-12:30 pm
Session 2: 1pm-2:30 pm
Where: Community Kitchen - 2999 Jane St (Corner Jane St and Finch Ave - enter at the back of the building/parking lot side)
Participants will come home with their own DIY preserved goods. Child minding available for parents with kids. Pls indicate in the registration if you’re coming with your child.
